Text message replies
Physician offices and restaurants send text messages to me to confirm my appointments. I simply have to respond by
"cancel confirm" or reply 1 to confirm or 2 to cancel.
Many patients do not like to call to confirm or call to cancel appointments. I would like to have the option in your system of sending text messages (and emails) to patients and have them respond as above. If I this option was created in your system, how would a text message be sent to the patient and how would the reply be received.response by us? Would we have to have a separate phone to receive text messages or could the text come into your existing system?
