Text message replies
Physician offices and restaurants send text messages to me to confirm my appointments. I simply have to respond by
"cancel confirm" or reply 1 to confirm or 2 to cancel.
Many patients do not like to call to confirm or call to cancel appointments. I would like to have the option in your system of sending text messages (and emails) to patients and have them respond as above. If I this option was created in your system, how would a text message be sent to the patient and how would the reply be received.response by us? Would…5 votes -

Direct secure messaging
Hello,
A great feature that would have a lot of potential for use would be direct secure messaging. With this A2C would have the ability to communicate with different EMR systems. This would potentially provide fluid communication with other providers who use other systems.

Fax integration with other providers
A great faxing option would be to have integration with other providers. By this I mean being able to add your current service providers fax number into A2C's fax system/provider. Currently if you have an existing fax number you would need it to be forwarded from your local service provider to your A2C fax number.
However with this setting it adds in points of failure, for example if the local service provider is having issues then there would be numerous failed faxes. If we could port in the existing number into A2C's current fax provider then this would provide for…

fax name
It would be so much easier and safer for HIPPA if when you fax directly from a patients chart, the patient name pre-loaded into the reference line instead of having to change it each time. It's very easy to move quickly and forget it or misspell the name so this would save time and mistakes

Pull Fax Number from Carriers
Hello,
It would be great if Integrated faxing could fax primary and secondary carriers without having to choose "Ad Hoc". Right now the choices are Adjuster, Patient, Doctors and Ad Hoc. But in the case where a paper claim might need to be sent to a carrier - it would be much easier if either the primary or secondary carrier could be chosen in the first field, if they have a fax number listed.
Thank you, Jody5 votes -
fax draft and reopen a fax
I would like to be able to save a draft of a fax, or have the window stay open while I retrieve info from somewhere else. Currently I have to cancel the fax and start over.
I would also like the opportunity to reopen a failed fax (in this case I had a typo in the fax number) to make a correction instead of starting from scratch.

Faxes not sent box *stays* up until manually x-ed out.
I only just happened to notice a pop-up that a fax I'd sent to a provider had the status of "not picked up." I'm often away from the computer cleaning rooms etc. and it would be SUPER helpful for that notice of a fax not going through to stay up and on the screen until manually closed. That way it stays there and visual until someone has noticed it, versus it just disappearing.

Requesting 2 new Insert Parameter fields
Hello,
To help us be more accurate and efficient in the messaging area, we would like you to please add two 'Insert Parameter' fields:
1) Enrollee ID (from Policies tab)
2) Master Case Number (for patient portal) - if we email a patient the Patient Portal invite from one case, but it is not their master case, the case that you are emailing from populates as the "account number" for them to use on the patient portal. If there was a "master case" field that was pulled from the Binder - this could accurately be placed into any email that…2 votes
